I am a trained therapist who recovered from decades of chronic pain after countless years of frustration, so I understand firsthand how debilitating it can be. Your pain is 100% real—it's not just "all in your head." Here's the thing: our bodies are deeply connected to our thoughts and emotions. Influenced by the work of Dr. John Sarno and trained personally  by pain psychologist and mindbody expert Dr. Dan Ratner in his Columns System approach, I take a holistic approach to physical, mental, and emotional wellness while incorporating warmth, humor, empathy, and lived experience.

How Is Columns Work Different Than Other Mindbody Approaches?
It is the most complete and deepest mindbody work out there because it covers every aspect of the mindbody experience:

1) Emotions: What emotional themes that are unique to you and your inner world and history give rise to the need for a symptom distraction. This is where to look for sudden symptom onsets and upticks.
2) Doubt: What kinds of thoughts, fears, and doubts keep symptoms in place and make them so seemingly difficult to get rid of.  This is where to look for symptoms that won't budge and appear chronic.
3) Power: This term relates largely to our relationships with ourselves, others, and our symptoms. Other ways to think about power are empowerment, self-alignment, and being able to  authentically, safely, and comfortably be fully yourself in any moment. Often, when emotions are fully understood and doubt is low, people are left with low-level symptom related to, ultimately, how we feel about ourselves. This is the final piece in the mindbody puzzle and in understanding and alleviating symptoms.


Together, we'll explore how emotions and thoughts can perpetuate pain and other symptoms, keeping them chronic. By making sense of your symptoms and your inner world, we can work towards overcoming pain and achieving lasting relief. In my coaching sessions, you'll find a safe space to discuss not just your physical pain, but all the ways you've suffered. Being human is tough; you deserve to be seen and heard. You deserve a life free from the constraints of chronic pain and other emotional burdens.
